Mold Biology for Growth
Mold spores are always in the air and are so small that they cannot be seen by the naked eye. They get everywhere and will only be visible once they put down roots and start a colony. Anywhere that is wet, such as basements, crawl spaces, closets, and attics are good candidates for the growth of the substance. One of the most common places to find mold is in the bathroom and kitchen where there may be a small leak. It grows silently and mostly unnoticed in most situations, and is usually undiscovered in places where no one goes into for extended periods of time.
